Natalie Ammons of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office told the Associated Press/GPB News in an email that the police are still looking into the [.fow1-3]stabbing[.fow1-3] at the [.fow1-2]jail[.fow1-2]. Two other [.fow1-1]inmates[.fow1-1] were also hurt in the [.fow1-3]stabbing[.fow1-3].

Last Thursday’s death is the fifth to happen at the [.fow1-2]jail[.fow1-2] in just over a month.

The U.S. Department of Justice is looking into what life is like in the [.fow1-2]jail[.fow1-2] after the death of Lashawn Thompson last year, who was found covered in bedbugs.

According to AP, Samuel Lawrence, 34, died on Saturday, August 25th, at Grady Memorial Hospital after he was found not moving in his [.fow1-4]cell[.fow1-4] at the [.fow1-2]jail[.fow1-2].

The other three people who died in July include 66-year-old Alexander Hawkins, 34-year-old Christopher Smith, and 40-year-old Montay Stinson.
